Damn ive always loved your synths, really good ones here too. Only one problem would be the drums which are getting old and dont really suit this song. Other then that, GJ :)

Thought: "OMG not again those hip-hop/pop crappy songs posted in the DnB section" but then in 0:40 it went bit hype :D
Make it longer, dont use guitar(use synths or i will zero-bomb you :P), check out my WIP that i dont have the inspiration to finish:S, and you will be just fine :D

lol a well preformed guitar lead can be quite epic with a good ground of synths. dont underestimate real physical instruments lol. if the guitar thing doesnt work out it will be synth though. and ill also have to go over the drums again at some point.

Some trancy 8-bit(maybe 16-bit) mu...crap
The snare should be replaced.
Bass should be more audible and kicky
Everything else should be improved on...

On the right way

Well you are on the right way i would say...
Things to improve on:
More variety (synths, samples, patterns n stuff)
More audible bass (a MUST)
Fill the gaps(soundgaps that is. atm its bass, drums, some high white noise :P and in the middlerange there is nothing)
Thats should help you quite alot on this track unless you intend on doing something else with this track :P

Nice cover

Nice job on this one, though i would have to ask you to change the genre... since its not DnB nor Jungle (maybe Hiphop section?).
The beginning is really awezum though i didnt like the hiphop part (since i dont like hiphop :P) though i love this songs ambiance feeling :D
The bass in the later part is nice and if you would speed it up at some point then i would have nothing against this being in the DnB section.
Also, if you are gonna use a guitar solo, its a nono in DnB :P and i will be rly angry at u ^^

Well, as a solution, I might submit the first part of the song to the Hip-hop section and second part to D'n'B section :p

As for solos in D'n'B and electronic music, ask Hiromi Uehara to stop playing piano, ask Squarepusher to stop playing jazz bass solos, ask Jojo Mayer to stop everything (double :p )

I like the psy parts of the song, the end is promising but still doesnt save you...

eh? This isn't much like any of my other tracks, the only instrument that I used that I've used before is the arp, outside of the most of the instruments are newly created for this track, especially the reese

The beginning is kinda cheezy :P, hearing your old synths AGAIN!!!, though i guess you arent really into making new synths?
Overall the song retains its cheezy feeling but i cant give you any details with mastering since your better at it then me :P
Overall nice song but could be better...

yeah it's a little cheezy, partially intentional, but yeah cheezy XD

It's aimed at being another take at an older song, so yeah everything is reused in terms of the instruments
